About ISYA

The 40th International School for Young Astronomers (ISYA) 2018 will be held between 26th March -11th April 2018. The school is sponsored and organized by the International Astronomical Union (IAU), the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters (NASL) together with Egyptian-Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT), National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics (NRIAG), Science and Technology Development Fund (STDF), Kottamia Center of Scientific Excellence and Space science (KCScE), Cairo University, Al-Azhar University, and Planetarium Science Center (PSC) at Alexandria Library. The 2018 Egypt ISYA will contain a series of lectures on astronomy and astrophysics, with practical optical photometric observations using a 1.88 m telescope at Kottamia Astronomical Observatory (KAO) with the addition of data reduction technique.
